General

WaterMe stores only what you enter: plant names, watering dates, notes, and photos. This data is used solely to run the app.

Account and sync

Signing up creates an account. Data syncs through a secure server so the app works on multiple devices and keeps your data when you change phones.

Photos and export

Plant photos are stored on the server for sync. Export lets you save your plant list to a file and share it with someone else — for example while you're away.

Notifications

Watering reminders are delivered through Apple's standard notification service. No personal data is shared in the process. You can turn notifications off in the app or iOS settings.

Premium subscription

Payment is processed through the App Store. We do not see or store your card details — Apple handles everything.

Data deletion

When you delete your account, all your data is removed from the server. The local copy on your device is removed when you delete the app.

We may update this text. The current version is always available in the app and at this URL.
